Bring me sugar!
This is the last of the three abstractions, and maybe my favorite of the group. It was made pretty much the same way as the last two. With just a hit of what could be called spraypaint air, I was able to make a watery glass like texture. It's always fun figuring out how to make a new look, it's kinda like stepping on a twenty.
By stacking two negatives I was able to create two fields of focus. I think this boosts what would be a two dimensional circle into more of a floating sphere. The background was made by torching the emulsion side of a negative and peeling away just what I want. Then like with the spraypaint, I used ink to highlight the edges so that they would appear white. Throwing that slide out of focus is what made that smokey atmosphere.
After it was all said and done, and I got it out into the light and all the new texture fawning was complete, I saw a familiar symbol. Don't pretend you don't know it!
There are other, even more dumberer things it reminds me of. GET OVER HERE, dumb thing:
Remember that? No? That's cause they won't let you remember - Nah na-nah!
