This is a place of learning!

Here's a remake of this guy, I didn't think that this school was run down enough. It was actually pretty nice inside there once I was sure there wasn't anyone living inside. That is if you can get over a rotting cave floor, but indoor plants are always a good thing.

It always takes a while for me to get used to a new picture, to decide whether I like it or not. I'm still figuring this one out, I think I like it, I know I like it more than the original. I think the texture I added favors the plants, the brick, and the rust above nicely. There are three other pictures I made along with this one but they are back at the darkroom I use.

Sadly I'm without a car at the moment, and the darkroom I use is about 6 miles away. This isn't too big a deal, as I still have a bike, and I made the trek yesterday to make this picture. Six miles can still be rough when it's your first time on a bike in about a year, and the chunky streets of Baltimore can be pretty punishing on the backside.

Sore grundles and poison ivy are a small price to pay for the arts, so I must persevere. In the meantime check out a picture by a photographer called Fun Factory!

Hard to tell you more about someone's alias, so I won't. This one is called "Morning of Nuclear City..." and is from 2005. Abandoned buildings are always cool, but for some reason abandoned buildings plus snow is better.
Check out more Fun Factory pictures here.
