>>Taken From the SNICHOVAULT<< My insides are just spit and plastic...

So as not to let the site become stagnant and dusty, here's another one from the past. The negatives of one of my favorites from 2007er8. I've been told that I should display my negatives somehow, and I think your backlit screen saves me the trouble of making a backlight. These things are usually only 6 centimeters wide, so it might only be to scale for people with flip-phones. Enjoy the authenticity, iPhobes!

This was probably the first picture I masked out specific spots on a picture. I think I must have just eyeballed the masks for the shirt and bandana, and even the size of the frames in relation to one another. Up above the frame was india ink, probably diluted with spit. Then everywhere in the frame except the shirt and the bandana is coated with a layer of glue and metallic paint. And I'd say down below the border and mask are straight ink, masking out areas scorched by a soldering iron and scratched up with an xacto knife. I think it was painted on a negative of happy clouds, that dark spot in the middle is probably the sun behind those clouds.

Isn't that better? The dust is kicked up for another day, the kids won't get malaria at least for the time being, and you got to see the wet guts and innards of this picture! I got to see my old back yard again, and that's nice. Everybody wins!
