I'm bored and it's raining. You wouldn't think I'd be bored because its raining both inside and outside, but I'm just gonna zone that out and embrace my boredom.
I do have a confession to make. I haven't been bored at all, because I'm here on SNICHOPHOTO, looking at old pictures made by me! And in this case looking at an old pic of me, so boredom can hit the bricks!
This shot must bee creeping around the 4-5 year old mark I'd guess. It was for an intro photo class I took back when I restarted college. Bored to tears by all my peers, and they're love of taking pictures of graveyards, and street signs, and pets, and on campus landmarks, and themselves in mirrors, and blah blah. I instead built a small set in my one bedroom apartment, dressed up like an old timey detective, and tried to make something different.
This was shot on 35mm film, probably Kodak. 35mm is tiny if you have any plans of altering an image, so the most I did back then was scratch out an outline. It's not much, but I think the picture would have been dull without the effect. I think it gives a comic book look to it. Good mustache for a kid!
