Diamonds in the back, sunroof top...


This shot is from Minden, Iowa. Minden was great because I needed a mailbox, and they had one. This gravel road broke off the main street, it might even be a driveway, and I thought it would show up pretty cool with the lens I was using. I was using a slightly wide angle lens, not too extreme, but it's just enough to suck everything towards the center of the frame boosting that vanishing point just a bit.

It might be a little more apparent in the next shot, you can see how the fire hydrant and telephone poles have a slight lean to them towards the middle of the picture. This is the towns sundry shop, open on a sunday even! I had to stop there for stamps and stole this pic before I left.
