Poppy Art
Here is a touched up version of the last image. I spent the day playing with some paint markers, just to give it a little more pop. This here picture was taken during Hampdenfest earlier this year outside the good ol' Golden West Cafe. Go there if you like eggs or if you hate being helped by waiters in a timely fashion. But for reals, try the eggs.

Doggie Bag
Looking inward can be a very good way to gain self awareness. Just be careful not to take things too literally if your skin is transparent and underneath your transparent skin is a hologram a vacation photograph.

She sells yield signs
Here's a shot from the top of a cliff. It's hard to believe all this is made of limestone and was underwater for over 50 thousand years.
Snow is snowing, outside. Wind is blowing, also outside.
If someone were to ask for my opinion of icicles and their forming habits, I would usually ask them back, "What do I care?" And we would both laugh and laugh, knowing of our abilities to weather such weather.
If you lack internal means to beat the cold, full screen this picture and hug it like a heating rock!
Birds do stink, overwater
Here's a flock of pelicans getting ready to perform their one hit wonder: dive bomb into the water for fish! Hard to believe they've been doing that one since 1979! This whole time I've been wishing (I had a photograph of them). But anyway I gotta run, gotta getawayyy.

Bee More Rocks!
Here's one more before I hit the hay. Be bewildered by the power of nature, not by how these rocks are placed (I did that myself), but how a sped like me could spell bewildered without any help!
What a Treet!
As most people who know me know, when I travel across country I want to take a picture of a tree, so here's a tree!

More boids
It's snowing outside, and every room but the one I'm in is freezing. The color in everything seems to be being sapped gray and dull. About a week ago I was barefoot on this beach. It's a relief to be home!

Wu Tang!
Getting ready to jump into the static storm that is my bed. There must be some way to get my sleep energy on the grid!
Cool tree, ya?
That's what I was asked when I was taking this picture. It is a cool one. The trees outside my window are a bit different. The trees outside have been rubbed naked by a cold constant wind, and are surrounded by bent concrete painted with the crap of a hundred crows that live in each one.
Woo is on first
Have you ever been Asian and blinded a lady with gunshot residue? You have? Well where the hell were you when I was taking this picture?!
In bed!
It can be rather frustrating when the things we say and the choices we make aren't able to bring us to the place where we want to be. When everything we do seems to bottleneck back to the same unpleasant path we were trying to get away from. The idea of what's right and what's wrong becomes muddied and doesn't seem to make a difference anyway. Silently accept your preordained misery, struggling seems pointless doesn't it?
Thanks Footlong Fortune Cookie! Anyway here are some palm trees.

He had one dred, and fungus
I got a haircut today. I had a nice conversation about the futility of the world we live in with the lady who cuts my hair. I feel much lighter around the ears, but can't Obama do more?

Wet feet
Here's one from the pacific ocean. I stood in that chilled water waiting for the perfect mix of textures to be swept in under my legs before I took this shot. If this picture was a cookie, I bet it would be an Oreo.
Watch those icicles form!
What's up December!
Finally back in the orange embrace of the darkroom, and it feels good. It's a bit cliche to say that photographs are memories, but I may have to. Actually I have always felt that photographs are better than memories. Memories can often be rotted by bad feelings, negative thoughts, pain and suffering, or other examples of an analogous nature. A photograph, at least to me, is able to be a purer or objective representation of that memory. Eventually when all the negative piss that might've been stinking up the memories in your mind evaporate, a photograph of a sunset like this clearly shows that life at the time wasn't all bad. At least for 1/8th of a second.

Throw up the horns! 11/11
Lo! A new picture! That sentence was going to start with the word Looking but then I backspaced and decided to pull over, we were done. This picture is a mix of New York and San Diego, can you guess which is what? I like this picture because it turned a little kid playing with a boat into a creep, creeping on some kids. Little did anyone know at the time, including myself, that it was really I who was the actual creep all along. Sometimes you gotta creep for the sake of the arts.

Stacked, yo
If there's one good thing about being really rich, it's looking out on your lawn and seeing your own flamingos. And if there's one good thing about being really poor, it's looking out on your lawn and seeing your own flamingos.

I dress to the right ------>
If you ever attempt to drive to the west edge of this country, you may pass by Deanza Springs. Deanza Springs is apparently the largest and one of the newest clothing optional resorts in North America, pets are welcome.
